How can we be sure only qualified substitutes will be filling absences?
Job visibility is controlled by a substitute's qualifications. This means a substitute can only view and accept jobs they have the required certifications for.
Can teachers and employees set their own preferences for substitutes?
Absolutely. District employees can create their own preferred substitute lists, which will allow certain subs to see absences before anyone else. These lists can also be set for an entire school.
How are users/data entered in Slate?
The Data Import feature lets you easily import substitutes, employees, accounting codes, and more. Individual users can also be added manually.
Will school administrators be able to approve absences?
Absence Reasons can be set to require approval. Approval Profiles are fully customizable so you can specify who can approve certain absences.
